Vacancy Data Scientist

To accelerate our international expansion, we are looking for a Data Scientist. You will solve challenging problems and support business growth through a deep understanding data, analytical techniques, and complex algorithms.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance charge optimization strategies through complex algorithms to valorize maximum value of smart charging in energy flexibility markets
  • Extract actionable insights that drive business decisions, through analyzing large, complex data sets
  • Produce intelligence through data analysis and articles to assist business and product development
  • Develop automated data processing workflows to streamline business operations
  • Monitor, improve and/or create new analytic dashboards to measure performance
  • Stay on top of trends in analytics, measurement and optimization and be the driver for innovation in this area

Job requirements

What you will bring:

  • Tech savvy and a master’s degree in an appropriate field
  • 3 -5 years’ experience in a data scientist or related role
  • Excellent skills in Python, including packages such as Panda, Numpy and Scitkit-learn.
  • Experience with machine learning libraries and time series forecasting
  • Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
  • Have a competitive edge and thrive in a fast-paced team environment
  • Fluent in English

Nice to have qualifications:

  • Data Engineering experience
  • Experience with energy, energy flexibility or energy market concepts
  • Understanding of e-mobility concepts and industry
  • Analytical skills and experience with BI tooling (e.g. SQL, PowerBI, Excel)
  • Experience with software development and testing
